UrbanSmartPark
UrbanSmartPark project focusses on the development and pilot demonstration of automated vehicles that simplify driverless on-street inner-city parking and provide a broad range of possibilities for parking-related services. The vision can be narrowed down to the two main objectives:
- Objective 1 Customer-centric services design and business models
- Objective 2 Implementation and demonstration of automated on-street parking and services enabled though automation
This activity has received funding from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). This body of the European Union receives support from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.

Project activities
- UrbanSmartPark Final Event 9 and 16 December 2020 in Hamburg
- Live demonstration of the Automated Valet Parking on 09.12.2020 from 09:00-16:00 MEZ in the port area of Hamburg with booth in the parking area. Feel free to visit us without registration.
- Virtual conference on 16.12.2020 from 9:00-14:00 MEZ with presentations from all project partners. Registration is required at s.thal@tu-bs.de
- European-wide survey about parking services starts now.
- UrbanSmartPark Kick-off, January 20 and 21, 2020 in Braunschweig
