Trans-national cooperation among ICT National Contact Points

The main aim of Idealist7fp project is to stimulate, encourage and facilitate the participation in current and future Community ICT research of organisations of all types. Special focus is put on newcomers and SMEs.

Ideal-ist is the first quality-labelled international ICT partner search network, basing on the well established NCPs in the EU27 and Associated States and part-funded by the European Commission.

Today the Ideal-ist network consists of 63 ICT national partners from EU and Non-EU Countries, such as Associated States, Eastern European Partner Countries (EEPC) and Mediterranean Partner Countries (MPC) and emerging countries like China, Brazil, India, and South Africa in line with the international cooperation strategy of the European Commission

Experience is gained from the five preceding projects covering FP4, FP5 and FP6: Idealfit, Idealist, Idealist5fp, Idealist34, Idealist7fp and Idealist-Extend.
